Although the summer has been largely hot and dry, mom and Lily did manage to pick a rainy day to go for a hike... Who knew Columbia actually made gear for a 10 month old. (and who knew we bought it???)
Our new pool!
Airplanes these days are activity stopping events.
Deep in the jungle of our lawn a patient adventurer can sometimes catch glimpse of the illusive Hairless Primate as it searches for food.
Our Lily seems to know many things instinctualy, other things from careful observation of her parents, but some life lessons are learned from experiencing the cold hard reality of human existence; grass is prickly.

Whether the latest fashions or nothing at all, she wears it well. Some are just born with style!
Who has the cutest little cheeks IN THE WORLD? I NEEEEED to pinch those little cheeks
Glad to see that Lily is adjusting to the weather extremes of the Northwest.
Some great captions on those pictures
Look at the chunk on the legs. I still like to chew on my 3 year old's legs and pretend they are as fat and rolly polly as they used to be. But I now have a 4 month old nephew who is pretty chunky and yesterday when I saw him, his parents let me chew on his cheeks and legs and arms. Fat everywhere. So cute!
Hugs to Lily!
