Dog days of summer

Seattle broke several heat records last month and we were embarrassed to discover all of Lily's sweat glands are fully operational (she was soaked with sweat after several naps). Crawling is happening, and just today we were playing the game called "laugh and crawl away from mommy when she pretends she's a monster". Good times.

 
The checkout girls at Fred Meyer are charmed whenever we go shopping.

 
First baseball game! Lily fell asleep in the bottom of the third, but I admit the game didn't really get going until the 7th..

 
One of these days I'm going to drop her...

 
How could ANYBODY be in a grumpy mood at a water park on a 100 degree day??? Well Lily found a way!

Love the shopping cart photo. She looks like she's having so much fun looking at the cards. And the water park photo is sad, but we've been there before with ours too...

She is so cute--a little buttooner--in that shopping cart! You guys are having so much fun as parents. I am happy for you two!
