Home
As I write this Kristi and Lily are both sleeping on the couch, tired after a long morning of feeding, sleeping, and looking cute (both of them). We've been home now for four nights and the consensus opinion is that parenting is quite easy, much more so than we expected! Lily rarely cries for more than ten seconds, sleeps most of the time, and eats and poops in sufficient quantity to make us medical people happy. Of course all will change and in later posts I will regret these words... Kristi is convinced that yesterday evening she saw Lily smile for the first time, which I highly doubt, but its nice to think maybe our child is gifted. These last few days have been relaxing and fun. Babci welcomed us home and held Lily in the same baby clothes Kristi came home from the hospital in, and Kari and Carrie brought eggplant parm and ice cream and held our little one all evening by the fire.
