Our baby turned one this month! Crazy how time flies, crazier still how much she has changed. Currently we are standing but not walking, using about 3 signs, babbling constantly but no first word yet. We had a small party in Seattle then flew to California for another birthday bash. (2 parties for a 1 year old? geez...)
Mom spent many hours perfecting this Lily-bug cake.
Lily did not quite know what to do with all this sugar.
We paced ourselves following an understandable initial mad rush at the cake.
Of course the California party had another birthday cupcake from Gramma. Lily was tickled by her good fortune!
